
A greater percentage of children ages 6-12 say they admire and respect their teachers over their family members, nearly 80 percent worry about “grown-up issues” such as violence and safety and more than 90 percent will take action if they see someone saying or doing something mean.
Those are among the results of a recent survey by Columbus-based Highlights magazine for children. This this is the 10th year Highlights has conducted the “State of the Kid” survey. Read the full post here.
