I’m interested, but practically how does this work?

If you subscribe to the free trial, you’ll be sent a welcome-to-the-trial email and then, the first month’s email newsletter. If you love it (as we suspect you will!) you can subscribe for your school or district either on a monthly or annual plan which you can cancel at any time. Then, you’ll be sent specific instructions for getting set up. That welcome-as-a-subscriber email will contain a second sample welcome email (that can be tailored to suit your community) that you can send out directly to your parents and caregivers. In it, they will receive some important safety assurances including:

  • Parents/caregivers will be able to choose whether to opt-in or opt-out. Clear instructions on how to opt out at any time will be provided if they do not want to participate.
  • They’ll receive assurances that their email address will only be used for the Confident Parents’ newsletter and never for any other purpose nor will it ever be shared for any other purpose.
  • They will also be assured that the newsletter will never advertise consumer products or services to them but will solely contain helpful learning information and resources.
  • All content will be research-informed.
  • All content will use accessible, practical language. No education buzz terms or divisive language will be used.

You will be able to customize that sample welcome email for your parent/caregiver community. Share a common language with your families giving them the knowledge, tools, and strategies to support learning and development at home!
